How to make a comma-separated list
- Paste your list into the first box, one item per line. A column copied from Excel or Google Sheets works.
- Pick a separator and, if you need them, quotes around each item.
- Copy the single line from the result box.
To go the other way, choose One line → list and paste comma-separated text. Each item goes on its own line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet column.
Which format do I need?
| Where it's going | Settings | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Email To or BCC field | Comma + space or semicolon | a@x.com, b@x.com |
SQL IN ( ) clause | Comma, single quotes | 'a','b','c' |
| JSON or code array | Comma, double quotes | "a","b","c" |
| Tags or keywords field | Comma + space | red, blue, green |
Quotes inside items are escaped automatically, so O'Neil or "special" won't break your code.
